I’m stoked
I’m getting my Mac Studio tomorrow. M1 Max 10-Core with a 32-Core GPU. 32 GB of RAM. 1 TB SSD. I’m going to try Final Cut Pro on it and run a bunch of 4k video streams!

WebKit and some other bug:

Mail.app now loads fast
I upgraded to Ventura 13.3 and Mail now loads very quickly. Before, it was taking 10+ seconds to start up. I think when I installed GPG Mail and then uninstalled that, it caused some kind of internal problem with Mail. Now everything is dandy.

Mail.app just sort of broke
I powered on my mini and found my Mail.app could not open messages (but it starts). Now I have to use the Web version to check mail because it appears Mail.app is not available for download from the App Store?

It’s supposed to be set up as a Linode/Akamai A/AAAA listing UPDATE: It now resolves to the correct IP. I wasn’t being patient enough with the DNS propagation.

This guy may have a point about Akamai

TCP/UDP ports
I don’t know what half of this stuff is. It’s now a rat’s nest in TCP world as far as I’m concerned. Do something different, engineers.
